Direct DHL eCommerce Integration ๐Ÿšš

The DHL eCommerce Direct Integration is an entirely new integration as of April 2021 that is not associated with the previous, Endicia-managed DHL eCommerce integration.

Key Takeaways: Once you connect DHL eCommerce as a shipping provider in Skubana using the credentials supplied by DHL, you can rate and ship orders.

As a native integration, we now offer functionality that was not available via the Endicia connection, such as, ETD for customs documents.

Learn how to set up DHL eCommerce here and learn about all the specific functionalities here.

Note: Please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat/support@skubana.com to have this feature enabled.

SHIPPING UPDATE:

Direct UPS Mail Innovations Integration ๐Ÿ“ฆ

Much like the DHL eCommerce integration mentioned above, Skubana has now introduced the ability to natively integrate with UPS Mail Innovations. UPS MI was formerly only offered via the Endicia shipping provider.

Key Takeaways: In order to use UPS MI services your UPS account must be enabled to use the UPS MI services. If the UPS MI services are not enabled for your account and you try to ship an order with one, you will receive a message from UPS when attempting to ship stating your account is not enabled and the shipment attempt will be denied.

Note: Please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat/support@skubana.com to have this feature enabled.

UPS UPDATE:

Customs Documents Support ๐ŸŒŽ

Skubana has now released support for UPS Electronic Customs Documents including Commercial Invoices.

Key Takeaways: The following documents will now be supported in Skubana with our UPS integration:

  • Commercial Invoice: Automatically generated. You also have the option to upload one.
  • CN22: Automatically generated. Will override a commercial invoice request as CN22 is used instead of a commercial invoice. You cannot upload a custom form.
  • Certificate of Origin: You have the option to either request UPS to generate this form or to upload your own form.
  • NAFTA Certificate of Origin: You have the option to either request UPS to generate this form or to upload your own form.

SHOPIFY UPDATE:

Auto-Subscribe Webhooks ๐ŸŒ

Skubana is moving away from the original method of connecting to Shopify webhooks to a new one connecting directly via Shopify's API. The original method was connecting via "Shopify Admin" (where you would set up a webhook in Shopify), and the new method is connecting via "API webhooks".

Screen Shot 2021-04-20 at 3.27.52 PM

Key Takeaways: The benefit of connecting via the newer API webhooks method is the ability for Skubana to automatically re-subscribe to a webhook, should it become disconnected at any point for an active Shopify sales channel. This decreases the likelihood of your orders being affected by a missed webhook action due to an unplanned un-subscription event.

Take a moment to read about it here!

Note: This feature is currently in BETA, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat/support@skubana.com to have it enabled.

FBA UPDATE:

Default Box Contents ๐Ÿ—ƒ๏ธ

We now offer the ability to allows users to save FBA shipment box contents (plus weights and dimensions for those boxes) for products through the Products edit window UI as well as via product spreadsheet import.

Screen Shot 2021-03-23 at 3.33.49 PM

Key Takeaways: When a user creates an FBA Workflow, Skubana can auto-populate the box contents for those products when adding labels to FBA workflows the first time. The defaults assume that each package will have only one SKU with max quantity. This new feature will help speed up the efficiency when creating FBA Shipments.

Read about Default Box Contents here!

FBA UPDATE:

New Component Inventory Setting ๐Ÿญ

We have now introduced the ability to choose whether or not you want to consider component stock for bundle and kit inventory for your FBA warehouses.

Screen Shot 2021-04-26 at 12.34.36 PM

Key Takeaways: When you disable the "Use Component Inventory" setting for a warehouse, the following logic is used. FBA Distribution Center warehouse settings are set in the Amazon Sales Channel > Edit Integration UI. Currently, this setting is only able to be edited for FBA Warehouses. This is new logic for Skubana and allows you prevent on the fly bundling to be enabled for your bundles at FBA.

SHOPIFY UPDATE:

Download Partially Refunded Orders โฌ‡๏ธ

We have introduced the ability to download orders from Shopify with a partially refunded status.

image-20210406-211930 (1)

Key Takeaways: The following logic will apply to the different types of partially refunded orders:

Order Amount Partially Refunded
If the order was partially refunded overall but no items were affected, Skubana will subtract the refunded amount from the Order Total and the Amount Paid.

Order Items Fully or Partially Refunded
If the order has partially or fully refunded items, Skubana will remove any fully refunded items from the order when downloading (but record it in the order history), and subtract the quantity refunded from any other order items.

This article will educate you on our order status logic with Shopify.

Note: This feature is currently in BETA, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to live chat/support@skubana.com to have it enabled.

SHOPIFY UPDATE:

Edit Products Webhook ๐Ÿ“

The Edit Product Webhook will have the same exact functionality as the Product Delete webhook in that it will reset Skubana's connection to a listing if the product was updated in any way in Shopify. Skubana will attempt to connect to it again during the next inventory or shipment update.
